A few small laundry habits can help training clothes stay comfortable for longer. Start with the care label on the garment; fabric blends and finishes differ, so the label takes priority over any general tip.
After the session
If you cannot run a load straight away, take damp kit out of your gym bag and let it air until wash time. Leaving it bundled up is a reliable way to make laundry day unpleasant. Turn garments inside out if you want to wash the side that sits closest to your skin.
Keep the wash simple
- Use the temperature and cycle listed on the care label. Many ELV3N pieces call for a cold wash.
- Wash with similar colours and avoid overfilling the drum.
- Skip fabric softener where the garment instructions say to; it is not a shortcut for removing odour.
- Air-dry pieces that say to hang dry, and keep them away from direct high heat.
The care instructions are not identical across the range. The Aero Shell 03 says to hang dry and not iron; the Thermal Hoodie 03 allows a low tumble dry. Check the individual product page or the label before you wash.
When the smell sticks around
First make sure the garment dries fully between wears. Do not add more detergent than the machine needs, and avoid masking odour with fragrance. If a piece still smells after a normal wash, follow the care label rather than reaching for a harsher treatment that could affect the fabric.
